This precison tool has no marks anywhere on it showing usage or that it has been used. The graduations are real clear. The thimble glides very easily. The frame of the tool has no nicks or damage or wear on any part of it.
The Case is made out of a heavy molded plastic and it is fitted for this micrometer. Molded into the case is "USSR", the letter "K", the word "Mnkpometp" except the n is backwards. Also molded into the case is the size: MK 25-50mm
