Unit output from 4hz to 2mhz in 6 overlapping ranges, 600 Output impedance, 5 V RMS output ( Open circuit), 2.5V RMS (600 ohm load). Low distortion output, 1% maximum, .1% minimum depending on frequency. Discrete transistors and components used, no propriatary devices, no odd-ball components. Frequency coverage is accomplished with a gear driven two gang variable capacitor. This unit is 115 VAC operated, no battery pack installed. This instrument is similiar to the 204C/D but with the addition of "squaring circuitry" (a tunnel diode and separate output circuitry.
This unit would be a teriffic additon to your test equipment suite that you use for repairing those classic boat anchor radios. It is light weight, portable, features both Sine and Square wave low distortion output. Unit boasts a wide range , it is totally solid state ,easy to use and maintain. Separate output level controls for both Sine and Square wave outputs. This instrument would be just as useful in the ham shack as in the lab, audio equipment repair and test, or test equipment repair facility.
