This is the tape (adhesive) to use under the heating element on Impulse Sealers.
This Fibreglass reinforced Teflon tape prevents your heating element from shorting out and burning in to on the metal frame of the sealer body.
The roll is 36 yards x 10 mil x 1/2 wide.
These will fit most hand sealers such as TEW-200, TISH-200 FS-200
WHEN LOOKING AT OTHER KITS MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING THE PROPER PARTS NECESSARY FOR A PROPER JOB, YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING
* 1 REPLACEMENT Element (wire)
* 1 Teflon Fabric 5 mil cover that goes over the element 1.125" wide
* 1 Piece of 1/2 inch teflon tape(adhesive) 10 mil that goes under the element.
Failure to replace the teflon tape that insulates the element from the body of the sealer will cause premature failure of the element and may cause failure of the timing circuit or transformer.
