ANSI Range: C6 Grade Description: 'Composition: A medium binder content, alloyed, larger grain size grade. Application: Grade K420 is a general purpose steel cutting grade. It has just the right balance of wear resistance and toughness. Available as a standard grade in the Top Notch threading and grooving line. Can withstand heavy chip loads in soft to moderately hard steels.'
ANSI Range: C3 Grade Description: 'Composition: A hard, low binder content, unalloyed grade WC/Co fine-grained grade. Application: Grade K68 has excellent abrasion resistance for machining cast irons, austenitic stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, nonmetals and as an alternative to grade K313 on most high-temperature alloys. Use as a general purpose grade for non-ferrous materials.'
