ADVISOR 851 MICROPROCESSOR-CONTROLLED PASSIVE INFRARED MOTION SENSOR
The Advisor 851 IR Sensor measures the infrared energy radiation from every object in its 180 degree view. If the change is large enough and occurs rapidly enough , an alarm will result.
This unit can act as a a stand-alone or multihead system sensor.
The Advisor 851 has a built in tamper, remote LED capability, and selectable features by means of internal switches
* 180 degree field of view - can detect an intruder's motion in 17 sensitive zones. One sensor can cover a 30X40 foot area. Even the protecting the wall its mounted on.
* Low Contrast Detection - Dual Pyroelectric operation Provides high detection sensitivity while cancelling background clutter. When set for high Sensitivity, the detector can alarm at background to target differentials of only 1 degree centigrade and targets moving as slow as 1.2 inches per second.
* Adjustable Sensitivity - This makes the Advisor highly immune to false alarms. An internal function switch allows for easy adjustment to best match the enviroment.
* Balanced Detection Logic - This is another reason that the advisor is highly immune to false alarms. This is also a adjustable setting. For best results set it for two detection events. This will require two events with in one minute to sound the alarm.
* Background Temperature Compensation- The sensor can be set to adjust automatically to changes in the background temperature. This also reduces the risk of false alarms
* Background Disturbance Indicator (BDI) - built in LED can be converted into a background disturbance indicator. The BDI will glow at 25% of alarm threshold to identify enviromental conditions that could cause a false alarm.
* Easy To Install - Convenient mounting holes and terminal strip for wiring conections.
* Switchable Visual indicator - An LED on the sensor indicates it is in alarm to facilitate walkin test and trouble shooting
