Motorola Compatible Radio Interface Box ( RIB ) This is a direct substitute for the Motorola programming Radio Interface Box (RIB). It is not a clone of their RIB. You will find that when you purchase our Radio Interface Box you will possibly never need to replace it. This RIB is extensively tested at time of manufacture to be free of defects. This unit does not include any manuals or instructions for use. Therefore, it will be assumed that the purchaser is knowledgeable in using the RIB for the applications it is designed for. Please note that we supply the hardware only. We can not supply software - this is available from your local Motorola dealer.
The RIB box comes with 3 ft serial port cable. It features an on/off switch, red data transfer LED to show active communication with the radio and white LED to show power ON status. The unit has a DC 9V internal battery compartment and an external DC 9V jack to use with an optional power supply. Dimensions: 100 x 60 x 28mm. Weght:180g.
