Front/back laser mirror mount / vacuum valve assemblies

From: Rae Whitney
Subject Front/back laser mirror mount / vacuum valve assemblies
ITEM: Matching pair of front and back laser mirror mounts with integral pneumatic vacuum valves, with optics, from industrial excimer laser.
DESCRIPTION: For sale is a matched pair of excimer laser mirror/optics mounts recently removed from an industrial excimer laser rated at 50 watts, 308 nm (XeFl) output.
The front mount assembly includes a 30 mm (about 1 3/16 in) aperture optical (window?) component; then a bellows and 2 belt-driven screws for X and Y angle adjustment; then a flange with a SS fitting for vacuum or gas introduction; then a chrome-plated pneumatic vacuum valve (tested, operates smoothly open/close at approx 40 psi); and an aluminum mounting plate with a final aperture of approx 1 ½ in. (the aluminum mounting block has one spot of considerable corrosion (see photo). The front mount assembly as shown weighs 8 lb 15 oz.
The back mount assembly consists of a SS plate with a 7 mm aperture opening over a 30 mm optical component (similar to front - appears to be coated for blue reflection, but basically transparent); then an aluminum block with a SS fitting for vacuum or gas introduction – mounted in the aluminum block are 4 long threaded bolts for mounting the assembly to the laser tube, with nut and washer sets to allow for X and Y angle adjustment; then a matching chrome-plated pneumatic vacuum valve (also tested fine); and a round aluminum vacuum flange mounting plate with a final aperture of approx 1 1/4 in. The vacuum flange has an O-ring approx. 3 inches in diameter. The back mount assembly as shown weighs 7 lb 8 oz.
CONDITION: Used, pulled from working equipment. One corrosion spot which does not appear to impact use at all. Item was in working condition when pulled from service and is in good physical condition.
Thanks for the interest and good luck.
