Pelican BIG ED 3700 Alkaline Flashlight
Big Ed is Pelican's popular right-angle flashlight specifically designed for fire fighters. The flashlight body is made of Xenoy, an unbreakable chemical resistant resin, with a polycarbonate lens and thermoplastic rubber shroud. The powerful Xenon lamp produces an unparalleled bright, long distance beam. A spare lamp is included as a secondary lamp. The unique push-button "Quick Change Battery Ejection System" allows the user to change the battery pack, 4C cell alkaline batteries (not included), without the use of tools. Big Ed can be carried comfortably in the hand, worn on a shoulder strap or clipped to a turnout coat by its stainless steel clip. Big Ed is water-resistant (not for diving applications) and available with a personal identification decal.

The photo below was taken on 4/20/04 shortly after a devastating tornado ripped through downtown Utica (it missed our store by 2 blocks). While 7 people were rescued alive, eight fatalities were eventually recovered from the wreckage. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all the fire and rescue workers, the Salvation Army, Red Cross, FEMA, IEMA, State, County and Municipal law enforcement agencies, and hundreds of volunteers who helped our community in its time of need.
