Series A Multipress is the answer to a widespread demand for a good, small, hydraulic press at low cost. It incorporates design and operating features which a survey of hundreds of press users showed were most wanted. It is designed for pressing tasks requiring up to 8 inches daylight between ram end and press bed — ram pressures between 400 and 2000 pounds. It is a light-weight, compact and completely self-contained press offering simplicity of operation and versatility which adapt it to a wide variety of production needs. It features fast ram cycling, easy regulation of maximum pressure to be exerted upon the work, and automatic reversal of the ram when that pressure is reached. Dual push-button controls assure safety for the operator's hands — both must be depressed to actuate the solenoid valve which controls ram movement. Its hydraulic cylinder and control valve assembly can be removed and replaced as a unit — typical of this press' engineered simplicity and ease of maintenance.
