12 page catalog / brochure removed from 1954 catalog shows a variety of Hotpoint appliances- retro refrigerators, ranges (including apartment models), Customline stovetops & Calrod oven units, dishwashers, disposalls, washers, dryers, rotary ironers, electric water heaters, food freezers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, as well as steel kitchen cabinets & accessories (flour or sugar bin, wall shelves, sliding shelves, condiment racks, etc).
Last page gives Hotpoint Distributor list across the U.S. as Graybar Electric Co., Inc. or General Electric Co. mainly in most cities.
"Efficient fiber insulation, three inches thick, blankets top,sides and bottom" of their hot water heater using the Calrod Heating Unit. G.E. was known to have used asbestos in their wiring, as other catalogs have shown. This catalog, however, doesn't mention asbestos that I can tell, but is still a nice reference for the products made during that period.
