About Us - Clean World Janitorial
Clean World Janitorial Clean World, Inc. came into existence in 1971 under the name of Duval Specialties. It began in a small 4000 square foot building on Walnut Street in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Housing the bookkeeping, sales, showroom, warehouse, and repair shop they quickly outgrew this facility and moved the janitorial supply company to a 12, 000 square foot facility on Liberty Street, still in downtown Jacksonville. At this time the Clean World name was adopted to correctly identify the type of business it was servicing. In 1991, continual growth forced another relocation to Lenox Avenue on the westside of Jacksonville. The 30,000 square foot location expanded the warehouse so that a larger inventory could be on hand to supply the growing needs of clients. A larger showroom could display more products and allow the general public better access to commercial cleaning products. In 2001, the business was purchased by it’s current owners, Steve Collum and Rick Born. In 2006, they relocated the ever expanding company to it’s current location on Cassat Avenue for better visibility.
