Lettering on the spine is faded & there is some minor wear on hardcover. There are three small tears on the edge of the back cover. Looks as though it was dropped on its edge. There is one 1/4" spot plus two 1/8" spots. Name of former owner, his home address and his ffice address are written in ink on the inside of the front and back covers. Pages are yellow along the edges, but appear clean, unmarked and intact.
