The newly introduced Mastech MS8213C digital multimeter has employed Santoprene TPE material for secondary injection case. And many other advanced technologies are applied including SMT and multilayed printed circuit, which make the instrument more reliable and stable in performance.
This multimeter is widely praised for its wide ranges and high accuracy when measuring low voltage and current, it has two seperate ranges for measuring AC/DC millivolts, you can measure voltage from 0 to 20 mV with 0.7% accuracy and 0.01mV resolution. As for current, you can measure from 0-200 microamps with 1.2% accuracy and 0.1uA resolution.
The MS8213C takes more concern on your safety, One unique feature of this meter is its Mechanical Protection, which prevents user from incorrect inputs. Special sliding jack protection system covers incorrect banana jacks as function is selected. Only the correct jacks are exposed to accept banana plugs as function switch is turned. Examples: When voltage, ohms or capacitance selected, the current jacks are closed/covered. When current is selected, voltage is closed/covered. This way, you will never have to worry about plugging into the wrong socket and burn up the fuse.
