* Mounts on side of battery charger with supplied hardware.
* While battery is being filled, the controller monitors the battery voltage:
* If during the charge cycle, the battery reaches 80% (2.37 VPC) within 20 minutes, no watering will take place following the charge cycle to prevent watering a battery that has not been discharged.
* If the battery has been discharged, watering will take place once the unit detects that the charger has turned off. During the 10 minute watering cycle, the valve will turn on for 25 seconds and off for 5 seconds to help clear any air locks that may develop.
* Green Flashing: DC power applied to unit and charger is off.
* Green Solid: DC power applied to unit and charger is on.
* Red Solid: Battery being watered (10 minutes).
* Yellow Solid: Battery has been watered.
* Yellow Flashing: Battery reached 2.37 VPC within 20 minutes of charging. No watering will take place.
* Attach battery water supply to valve.
* Attach red wire to battery positive side of the charger current shunt.
* Attach black wire to the battery negative.
