This machine is a SERIES 13, Pit Type
The year is 1957, based on Serial Number 30296
12' bed, 10' 2" between the housings

We know the BRAND NAME is Cincinnati. There is a big plate at the top that says "Cincinnati Series 13". See the pic. There is a pic of a data plate showing 4" stroke. We don't know the exact power ram adjustment, but it should be about 5". The data plate pics shows the tonnage and serial number.
We do not have any books on this machine.
This machine has an air cylinder to acuate the ram, there is a solonoid to "fire" the air cylinder, but the button(s) on the front of the ram do not work. We simply used a 110 volt line and a switch to "fire" the air cylinder. It will need some of the control wired fixed or configured. Also, this machine has the "original" rod for MECHANICAL actuation of the ram. This rod runs along the bed. It looks like most of the hardware is there. Obviously, at some point, someone put the air cylinder/solonoid trip on the machine and unhooked the mechanical foot trip.
This machine is MASSIVE. They just don't build them like this anymore. I guess the reason would be because a MECHANICAL Press Brake has to withstand the sudden shock of the bending action. The END FRAMES are 4" thick. We have visually inspected the welds on this machine and everything looks very clean. The BED is massive... I'll bet (just guessing) the bed weighs about 10,000 lbs., by itself! The gears (see pics) look to be in very good shape, considering the age.
Observations on this Press Brake:
* This full 250 ton machine and should give bending capacity of 10' of 3/8" mild steel with 3" die opening.
* Overall ram length is 12' 6", Distance between housings is 10' 2"....Easy to measure, no guessing here...
* There is a HEAVY bed for dies. This bed is MASSIVE. It requires a pit in the floor. YOUR pit should be ABOUT 4' deep, 13' long and 6" wide. There are NO punches or dies with this machine.
* Stroke is 4". Looks like there is about 5" of ram adjustment.
* Yes, all the punch RAM CLAMPS are present and accounted for, SIR.
* There is NO backguage on this machine. There are NO support arms with this machine
* Main Motor is 20HP, 220/440 volt 3 phase
* Machine is currently wire for 220 volt, 3 phase operation
