Fluke 6011A Synthesized Sine Wave
Hello all, we have for sale a very nice Fluke 6011A synthesized signal generator. This generator is in excellent working conditions. The instrument covers from 10 Hz to 10.99999 MHz in two overlapping ranges, sine wave output. Please note that the picture shows one of the display digits brighter than the rest, this is normal and represents the "selected" digit which is controlled by the frequency or amplitude knobs.
The 6011A frequency resolution is 0.1 Hz in the low range of 10Hz to 109.9999 kHz and has a 10 Hz resolution from 110 kHz to 11 MHz. The output is adjustable from 0.4 mV to 5 volts RMS into 50 ohms (Internal changes as described in the manual can modify the output impedance if needed.) The volts or millivolt output can be expressed in volts peak-to-peak or volts RMS. The output can also be expressed in Decibels. Every decade of frequencies was tested in both the low and high range and they are dead on as indicated on our frequency counter. ( 10Hz was 10.000008 Hz, 100kHz was 100.00006kHz, 10MHz was 10.000008MHz) Our RF voltmeter only tests to 1 V and we did some selected tests from minimum to 1 Volt and the output appears accurate per the manual. We visualized the output from 1V to 5V on our scope into 50 ohm and that appears fully functional and leveled as well.
An output edit control allows any preselected digit to be modified, either amplitude or frequency, as indicated by the brightened digit. This allows rapid and precise changes in the frequency or amplitude as needed.
Keyboard information for up to nine separate signal generator output conditions can be stored, then recalled to provide the preselected output. Settings can be recalled in any order.
A reference frequency and frequency level can be selected (if desired) around which the output of the generator can be varied. A change sign (+ / - ) key determines whether the next selection will be added or subtracted from the reference frequency.
Amplitude Modulation of the generator output frequency can be selected by keys on the front panel. Rear panel input jacks provide for external voltage control of up to 90% amplitude modulation. The AM input was checked and is fully functional
There is also a rear panel TTL compatible output (square wave), fully tested, which tracks the selected frequency. We were able to underange to 1 Hz for the TTL level. ( The front panel sine wave output is distorted when you underange.)

Front panel is in very good condition. The case is in excellent condition with no dents or dings and just some minor scuff marks; the paint is intact. We do not have the means to test the IEEE-488 interface but have no reason to believe it does not work. All other functions, inputs and outputs, front and rear, are operational.
