I wanted to let you know that I completed sandblasting last week.
The Texas Blaster worked perfectly; it is a great addition to my tool arsenal. I foresee lots of work ahead taking care of rusty tractors and farm equipment. I did add your inline water separator on the air intake side as you suggested.
I found that I had to periodically tweak the mixing valve until I got the feel of things.
Loading is a breeze and the seal works well. I originally put some pipe dope on the threads of the seal plug and then came to my senses and removed it.
I did find that “screened” sand doesn’t mean screened well enough to use in a sand blaster… Better to look for Blast Sand.
I really appreciate your help, advice, and follow-through.
