CD 4077 / CD4077B CMOS ICs are equivalent to MC14077 / MC14077B, SGS4077 / SGS4077B, HCF4077 / HCF4077B, HEF4077 / HEF4077B, TC4077 / TC4077B, and other CMOS 4077 IC equivalents. Widespread uses in circuit designs. I find XNOR gates to be particularly useful in conjunction with shift registers with multiple outputs to produce special effects sounds, but certainly they have many other important applications. 14-pin IC.
