WE ARE OFFERING A USED MODEL D-16.
All STATE Mfg. wood and metal disc sanders have the following quality features:
Precision ground special alloy steel disc.
Dynamically balanced disc for safe vibration free operation. Can be operated in either clockwise or counter-clockwise direction as job dictates.
Maintenance free TEFC totally enclosed fan cooled motor rated for continuous operation. All 3-phase sanders are provided with a 3-HP motor for long term dependable service.
Magnetic motor starter with overload protection for safe installation. Reversing drum switch for disc direction control. All controls are mounted for operator convenience. Optional JIC controls and motor brakes available.
Precision ground flat for true sanding operation. Supported on each end by cast iron table segments which are fully annealed and precision machined for stable operation.
Operator friendly table controls
Engineered worm gear design allows the table to be tilted 30 degrees up and 45 degrees down relative to the disc. 20 and 24 inch disc models are geared on each end of the table. An easy-to-read degree scale allows for accurate tilt determination before the locking device is engaged. Table raising and lowering is accomplished on the 16 and 20 inch models by a decades-proven gear rack design. The 24 inch disc model is equipped with a heavy duty electrically powered table lifter. Tables can be raised to just under the center of the disc or lowered to below the disc in order to easily accommodate different size sanding jobs or replace the abrasive disc.
Heavy duty and calibrated for accurate angle determination. The miter gauge slides in a slot machined in the table
Magnetic motor starter with overload protection, safety labels, reversible dust shield and dust routed under table for operator protection, ergonomic well placed controls. Optional JIC controls and motor brake available
