These manuals cover the Tektronix 7D10 Oscilloscope Plugin. They are scanned from the original manufacturer's manuals. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manuals is available here. Our large PDF of the service manual is 285MB, and our scan of the much smaller Operating Manual is 72MB. Foldout pages are supplied as A4 (8-1/2x11") pages within the "main" Service Manual (there are no foldouts in the Operating Manual) for ease of printing, and are also supplied in a separate "foldouts.pdf" document in A3 (17x11") for they who prefer them. The pages can be printed as needed or the information taken directly from the computer screen. If any exist, technical notes made by engineering and technical personnel are retained in this document.
The very high res scans are fully bookmarked and hyperlinked.
The "very high" or "reproduction grade" resolution looks nice, but for many purposes uses excessive resources. You can copy the large file to the hard drive in an effort to achieve better performance, but having that be a necessity is certainly of no benefit to you. Therefore, although it's great to have this resolution for those times you need higher definition (printing, mainly), we include a second set of scans in standard resolutions for daily research and use on the bench.
The second scan is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce useable quality, quickly navigable files that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed.
On the CD you'll receive the large "very high resolution" files, plus the smaller, faster and often more appropriate text-searchable versions.
