Designed to fit in a 1/4" or 1/8" collet, to hold a precision dial indicator such as the Brown & Sharp BesTest! This will allow the operator to position the spindle of their mini-mill or CNC router table precisely over the center of an existing hole or narrow slot by turning the knurled knob to move the dial indicator. When the needle on the dial indicator stops moving when the indicator is rotated manually, the part and spindle centerline are aligned! Then your G-code can be written to start working from the X & Y zero of that hole!
