New expansion valve methyl chloride 1/2 ton w/box rare

SO, are there any working HVAC guys out there that remember "Methyl Chloride? Well here is a NEW 1/2 ton valve with its well worn box. I believe Methyl was outlawed in the 1940's so chances are you can't use this. BUT, you can be the only guy in your union that has one!! Just picture my Dad driving around in his super-charged Graham sedan with all his tools in the trunk including this valve that never got used.
This came from Grandpa's estate along with many other HVAC parts and some tools.
