This shampoo contains the finest synthetic detergents and soil retardants, assuring you the best results possible in carpet and upholstery cleaning. It can be applied to carpets by use of both Rotary Shampoo Machine and Foam Generating Equipment on wool or synthetic carpeting.
1. Remove all surface dirt by vacuuming.
Light Soil: 3 ounces of shampoo to 1 gallon of warm water (50:1)
Medium Soil: 4 ounces of shampoo to 1 gallon of warm water (30:1)
Heavy Soil: 5 ounces of shampoo to 1 gallon of warm water (25:1)
3. After mixed solution is in machine, start motor and control the output of suds so as to not soak the carpeting.
4. Foam should be kept in front of machine releasing only enough shampoo to cover the carpet pile.
5. Go over heavily soiled areas a second time without releasing additional shampoo.
6. Pick up excess shampoo with wet vacuum (optional).
7. Every 100 sq. ft. (while carpet is still wet) brush the pile in one direction to avoid streaks or shading.
8. Place wax paper or special rust preventative material under legs of furniture left in shampoo area.
9. Do not allow machine to stand directly on carpet without resting it on either cardboard or heavy cloth.
10. After carpet is dry (3 to 4 hours) pick up residue with vacuum.
