This kit has been designed to permanently fix all cross slide screw issues of the popular 9x20 lathe.
It is a forever lasting bolt-on replacement kit that use a larger 7/16" (11mm) instead of the original 5/16" (8mm) screw.
-Abuse proof design allow "hard" operations like knurling
-Use double ball bearings for an ultra-smooth operation
-The tension between the ball bearings is adjustable to your personal "feel" preferances
-Tension also eliminate screw/mount backlash and prevent the screw from turning on vibration
-The 1" long Nut is manufactured from Brass C360 for very low screw/nut friction
-Large screw diameter eliminate screw flex for precise deep cuts
-Bearing hub is anodized red for a clear high contrast easy to locate reading
-Use a longer mount for more cross slide travel and clearance
