Offered for sale are Halon 1301 Fire Suppression units that appear to be in new or unused condition. These were manufactured by Pacific Scientific Corporation for use in the aircraft industry. We are offering these seperately and at the time of listing there were a total of 4 units available.
They are designed to hold 7 pounds of Halon 1301. The pressure gauges indicate between 700 and 800 psi pressure and all saftey wires are present on covers. According to the chart on the bottles the pressure indicated represents a sufficient charge. There are also 3 wire connections on the head for what may be remote pressure indication device.
We reccommend that these, as well as any fire suppression system, be checked by a certified professional before being put to use in a life or equipment saving function.
The discharge outlet on the head appears to be the same size and thread as a schrader valve on a typical tire stem.
