* Model: 70-340A. Please note: Unlike the 70-340B which requires modification to work correctly in the 2-meter band, this is the "A" version with the factory 136-156 Mhz frequency range. This radio is the same Hitachi OEM design as the very popular Australian AWA RT-85 model, highly sought-after by 2 meter amateur operators. These impressively well-built and rugged MIL-SPEC units were designed for the most demanding environments in Canada and Australia.
* This is a tested & working 2-meter mobile radio with the optional user-programmable EPROM module in place. The user-programmable module alone normally sells for $59. The radio has been re-programmed, tested and re-tuned for optimal performance on the 2m band. It's transmitting and receiving fine.

* This radio includes a brand new user-programmable, flash-based Syntech-I EEPROM module, with all software needed to reprogram it on a PC. The module is currently programmed with 40 standard packet radio and APRS channels. Please see full list below.
