Description: The Sound Technology 1400A is a stand-alone low distortion oscillator. Frequency coverage is 10 Hz to 110 kHz. Output level is continuously adjustable from 1 mV to 3 V. The extreme purity of the output signal permits it to be used to determine the residual distortion of Audio, spectrum, and wave analyzers. Distortion is typically < 0.001%. A fast response mode is available from a front panel switch that allows the oscillator to settle faster for frequency response testing. The output is single-ended and can be floated or grounded. This unit does not require additional power mainframes for operation.
Condition: Reconditioned and Performance Tested to meet manufacturers specifications. Clean unit inside and out. Physically inspected, hardware re-torqued, connectors treated with a preservative, controls and switches lubricated as appropriate, power supply electrolytics tested. Burned in for 72 hours and then performance tested. All knobs and switches are in good condition.
