The FV750R offers up to a 12 mile range in optimal conditions (typically 1 mile in urban conditions), and interference will not be a problem as you can choose from 121 privacy codes on each of the 22 FRS and GMRS channels.
The Motorola FV750R is also a weather radio, supporting 11 NOAA weather channels. This is certain to come in handy if you use the radios for hunting, or any other outdoor activity.
