Up for your consideration is this excellent, NEW, Bagmaker & Sealer Plastic Bag Sealer for home use. This unit is vintage, from 1970, but works like a charm.
Why pay $50-$100 for industrial bagsealers when you can get this for a fraction of that price? Authentic 70s Avocado Green plastic, and cheesy woodie finish! Even if you don't use it, it's a cool vintage 70s kitchen decoration! Screwholes on back for wall mounting, includes manual with cheesy 70s instructions and photo!
5> Bonus new roll of bagmaker film! These Bagmakers sold out in no time the first time around, so I found some more, and these include a plastic refill, brand new, 50 feetof 12" wide rolled plastic, specially made for this bagmaker!
To use, simply unroll film to the desired length, insert item or packing material if desired, and close lid, pressing down firmly on the left edge to activate the heat sealer (a handy light turns on at this point letting you know it's sealing), and in a few seconds, it's tightly sealed and cut from the bag! Roll back the plastic and turn the bag 90 degrees and seal again for a closed/sealed bag!

One thing to note: The "press here" sticker on these units is incorrect. You need to press on the left hand side of the bar, not the center. At least, it works better for ME that way.
