Description: The HP 8642B is a high performance programmable signal generator that is ideal for all in and out of channel receiver testing. They have exceptionally good phase noise and spurious specifications. Absolute level accuracy is ± 1dB with an output level capability of +16 dBm at 2100 MHz (+20 dBm up to 264 MHz) . AM, FM, and Phase Modulation capabilities include an internal variable frequency source or can be used with external sources. A built-in 750 uS preemphasis filter simplifies testing of FM mobile radios. Several frequency or power sweep modes are available.

Option 001 High Stability Oscillator
Condition: Reconditioned and Performance Tested to meet manufacturers specifications. Clean unit inside and out. Physically inspected, hardware re-torqued, connectors treated with a preservative, controls and switches lubricated as appropriate, power supply electrolytics tested, battery replaced. Burned in for 72 hours and then performance tested. All knobs and switches are in good condition.
