'Composition: A CVD/PVD coating over a very wear-resistant unalloyed substrate. Application: This grade was designed for semifinishing to finishing of high-temperature alloys and titanium. Grade KC732 benefits from the combined strengths of two coating processes. The CVD layer provides exceptional adherence to the substrate, and the PVD coating is crack free and very smooth. This patented grade allows higher cutting speeds than other PVD grades, which leads to greater productivity, reduced cycle times, and lower costs. Most ground periphery inserts have a sharp edge.'
