FLUKE 8060A DIGITAL HANDHELD MULTIMETER WITH EXTRAS AND NICE!!. : This is a nice looking meter. The lense is sharp, clear and complete. No ghosting, spider webbing, birdcaging or any of the defects that are common with LCDs. This meter comes with clip type probes, nice soft carry case, and CD with the 8060A/8062A manuals on board! This meter has the bale intact and also in good shape. The meter is lightweight, versatile and will be a great additon to your bench or field equipment, IT WILL GO WHERE YOU GO. It was truely one of the most complete meters of it's time because it will do things that other meters will not. This is a lab technician/student/professional's meter. Besides reading the standard voltages, currents, resistance and diode check; it will check decibels, frequency, conductance and continuity as well as the capacity for relative readings. This has been completely checked out (none of the we turned it on and saw lights) and is fully functional on all ranges and scales. You are NOT gettting a pig in a poke. I don't have calibration certs but have checked it with my Fluke 515A and HP6920B calibrators and several of my higher level meters and it is right on. It has also passed the 3 self tests, making this model meter unique, which are the 1)Power up self test, 2) Ratio Self Test (which checks the Analog to Digital converter), and 3) the Switch Decoding Self Test. I have shown the meter in the Power On Self Test, with 500 mVDC (1/2 of a volt) and with powerup and static readings. The serial# 5500050
JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW WHAT AN EXCELLENT METER THIS WAS: The Fluke 8060A is a 4 1/2 digit (20000 count) meter that measures TRMS AC/DV voltage: range 200mV to 750V/1000V with a 10uV resolution on the 200 mV scale. AC/DV current: range 200uA to 2000mA. Ohms function: range 200 Ohms to Automatic 300 MOhms. Front panel probe jacks have seperate jacks for fused current measurements. It also measure Frequency, DBm or relative DB, Conductance, Diode check AND self diagnostics. It has an onboard microcontroller with 2.2K ROM and 48 RAM! This is truely the top of the line for this series meter. So there you have it: Great shape and looks, accuracy,probes, nice soft carry case and manuals on CD!
