They are great for powering most all your high-powered RC battery chargers, car stereo or CB radio equipment in your house that requires 1- 20 amps. Our units have an Overload Protection, which will fully protect the power supply in the event of accidental shorting or excessive current draw. They operate on 110 volts AC or 220 volts AC, while running super cool with not 1 but 2 internal fans : 1 Red on top and one Large red fan in the back. A "switching" power supply, uses solid state electronics to produce it's voltage, instead of the old fashion transformer type power supply which are bulky and heavy. Our units are much lighter, smaller and less likely to malfunction. Size is 6X5.5X3. Weight is approx 1 pound.
Each Power Supply will come in the exact condition that the picture shows. Removable power cord & 1 foot lead with banana plugs on one end and alligator clips on the other are also included. The installed banana type binding posts on the top will accommodate most alligator clips and banana plugs so you could easily make a new set to fit your project.
When comparing our Power Supply's to others ask yourself these questions : Do they have a reputable website ? (We do) Do they offer any warranty ? ( We Do ) Are they making claims of a manufactures warranty ? ( Ours are in house since we are the manufacture. Others offer a manufactures warranty but if you don't get the proper paperwork from a official reseller, there really is no warranty given ) Does their unit have a built in cooling fan or does the unit look like Swiss cheese, with no mention of a cooling fan ? ( Our units have not 1 but 2 internal fans . Theirs is most likely air cooled ) Any mention of how many watts their units produce ? ( Ours operate @ 400watts @ 20 amps peak ) Have an On/Off switch ? ( Ours does, they are located in the back of the power supply )
