You are purchasing 3 each tool box locks.... They are keyed alike..The diameter is .These lock mechanisms move in and out with a 3/8" movement...This way you do not have to worry about cam rotetion or the cam wobbling around.....It is harder for the cam to be broken because it slides in the lock clyinder ...Easy assembly and removal.....Spring clip holds assembly in place........ NEVER REMOVE THE KEY UNTIL IT IS IIN THE LOCK CLYINDER.......To assemble the lock gently rotate the lock clyinder so it will go into the lock housing (only go 3/4 of the way).......Install your cam into the lock housing as shown, aligning it with the raised line on the back of the lock housing.......You then align the slot in the cam with the round tab on the end of the lock clyinder...... Push in the lock clyinder the rest of the way so the round tab is in the cams slot.....rotate the key to see if the cam moves in and out.......If you goofed up and need to remove the assy. get a small scribe and push in the lock tab on the lkey clyinder...(Push in gently through the lock housing hole.). (Pictured with a scribe).....It will come out easily, with very little force....... Insert the notch in the cam into your 3/4" hole This is the secret to installing the lock into position.....attach your clip and its installed..............Call or email me for questions (***) 587 2662
